Cover Art!
I have cover art.

(Click for a bigger version: or look on my shiny new website.)

Not quite sure about the lettering, but I'm very happy with the artwork. It was painted by local artist Linda R James.

I am curious, where does the pen name come from? Also, I look forward to reading :D

The pen-name is the name of an ancestor. He left Waterford towards the end of the Nineteenth Century, and he almost googlewhacks, which my birth-name doesn't. (Apparently I'm a famous cyclist. And a dancer. And a photographer. And so on...)

There was a Henry Hallan who wrote a history book in 1869 (no relation) but other than that, the field is completely clear.

You realise this is the first installment? And that there is much angst and woe? My wife wanted me to stop writing historical fantasy and write her a straight fantasy, but she still hasn't forgiven me for the lack of a happy ending.

It's like Titanic: you know it ends at the bottom of the ocean.

Oh, and do you have a Kindle? (Or a Kindle app for your PC?) If not, you may have to wait a few more weeks while I get it typeset, and check proof copies. These squashed trees are inconvenient -- and significantly more expensive!
